Junior Staff

The Junior Staff is a vital part of the HOBY seminar. Although most of the work is behind the scenes, they are involved in almost every aspect of the weekend. Whether it be setting up for a lunch, coordinating the talent show, or passing out supplies, Junior Staff members are always around to help out. We are delighted that you are interested in applying and look forward to your application.

Junior Staff selections are based on several factors, including answers to questions on this application, help in planning the seminar, community service hours completed, etc. HOBY participants are asked to complete at least 100 hours of community service. You should have completed these by the application deadline, April 1.

If you have never been on the Junior Staff before, complete the Application for New Junior Staff Member. If you have been on the Junior Staff in past years, you will need to complete the Application for Returning Junior Staff Member. Please make sure that you complete the correct application. The applications differ in many ways, and questions will not be appropriate if you choose the wrong one.

In order to apply you MUST be able to attend HOBY Thursday, June 3, through Sunday, June 6, 2010.

The deadline for submitting this application is April 1, 2010. Late applications will NOT be accepted. You can mail the application to Mississippi HOBY, P.O. Box 2717, Jackson, MS 39207. Or, email to hobyquestions@yahoo.com.
